Description
Up for auction is my1966 Ford Fairlane. It features a small block 302 with a 4 speed top loader manual transmission and a 9 inch Detroit Locker with 3:89 gears. The car was originally a small block 289 with a automatic transmission on the column. To make the car stand out from other Fairlane's I am installed steel wheels in the back with Mickey Thompson E/T Street/Strip tires to give it a an old school look. Although it is a 66 the car does have a 67 power dome hood and the trunk trim is from a 67. The hood was slightly damaged near the cowl due to a hood pin mishap but nothing serious.The paint PPG green metallic single stage urethane and is about a 7 out of 10. I say this because there is some striping in areas but not bad. The car is very straight and gets a lot of compliments.
