This Is a 25K actual mile 1984 SVO that I purchased, it had been sitting for years. I replaced the ignition switch, battery, alternator, and plugs to get it running. The spark plus were original ( I kept them for proof). It has the original plug wires on it that are dated Sept 1983.
I purchased the vehicle as it sits, the story is that this is a 2 owner SVO. It was 1 family that owned this car since new. It has the original owners manual, Koni shock manual, Kong shock adjustment tool, and original keys. The car has the original catalytic converters and muffler. This car is also a factory non AC car which makes it somewhat rare! Most SVO units made came with factory AC. The I have many more pictures if you would like to see more!
The original owner's son tried repainting the car himself. The story I was told was that the clear coat was faded, so the son attempted to paint the car the original color but never finished it. The car has one coat of the base coat and was never clear coated. The original color is dark charcoal gray. In 1984 Ford produced 1022 units of dark charcoal gray.
I am selling because I have too many projects and would like to spend my time/effort into restoring another mustang I currently own. Feel free to ask any questions, please watch the walk around video though! Disclosing this SVO for what it is and being transparent about the information I know about the car.
ThanksBrad
