RESTORED 1980 FORD F-150 4x2 LONG BED, 351-M, AUTO, BLUETOOTH, EX. COND (video)

Beautifully restored and improved, 1980 Ford F-150 long bed (8’) pickup 4x2. Much detail and extra money were spent over a 2-year period to bring the F-150 up to the standards you see in the photos and video. Specifics are listed below.

Total miles on the odometer shows 101,000, but only 3000 have been logged on the truck since its completion in 2017. Options include: Power steering, Power brakes (disc front drum rear), and A/C (blows cold air).

The interior is TOTALLY new and includes heated seats!! All of the gauges function as they should and an upgraded ‘Retro Sound’ system with AM/FM/CD, Bluetooth, microphone, and USB connection was added.

Power comes from the original 351 c.i. ‘M’ code engine which was rated at 136 h.p. and has been treated to a new Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm 4-barrel carburetor. When the owner had the intake and carb work performed the engine and heads were flushed, cleaned, inspected (had compression test performed), and show no issues such as leaks or using fluids.

The only item owner decided not to repair was the switch over to the second gas tank. He had no use for it. The indicator does work but does not change over. Second gas tank is in good condition.

SPECIFICATIONS

Body & Bed

Truck was taken apart and had the bed removed from the frame but not the cab. New door and tailgate. Welded in passenger side floor section was repaired. Small rust areas were cut out and repaired w/welded in panels. No bondo. See photos.

2-stage urethane sapphire blue metallic paint throughout.

New exterior door handles

POR 15 applied on undercarriage and in doors.

Engine, Transmission, & Differential

Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm 4-barrel carb

New A/C compressor

New belts & hoses

Stock C-6 3-speed automatic transmission had fluid changed and inspected.

Rear differential (9” open w/3.00:1 open gears) had the fluid replaced and was inspected. No issues.

Chassis & Suspension

Anti-sway bars added front & rear

New brakes and hardware

New shocks and front-end bushings

New 15” wheels w/new 235 x 75R x 15 Goodyear Wrangler Radial tires.

Interior

New seat which was reupholstered and had heated pads added for heated seats.

New: dash pad, carpeting, door panels, wood grain dash section, seatbelts, window cranks and door handles.

Retro AM/FM/CD player with Bluetooth, USB connection, microphone, and Pioneer speakers.
