GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1967 Ford Falcon for your consideration. This red rocket is powered by replaced 289ci V8 motor which is paired with an automatic transmission with powershifting.
Externally this Falcon looks great in red and it is a theme that continues on into the interior of the vehicle. Also featured inside is a vinyl/cloth interior with red carpeting and piping. The interior of this vehicle is definitely something that stands out due to its great colors and condition. There is plenty of aftermarket Sunpro gauges that help monitor the health and performance of the vehicle. A B&M shifter is located on the floor as well. The selling owner notes that this vehicle has been the recipient of an ongoing restoration over the past 19+ years and maintains its original sheet metal with the exception of the lower wheel wells. Also included with the sale is a large binder full of receipts and documentation of the restoration process.
The Falcon was Ford's first "compact car" they ever produced that boasted about good fuel economy (30 mpg with 6 cylinder models) and enough room to fit the family in. The sales for this first-generation (1960-1963) car was a huge success and proved to Ford that bigger wasn't always better. This helped Ford greenlight the Mustang which shared a lot of the mechanics of the early Falcon. The third generation of Falcon was based on a shorted Fairlane platform and had a production run of five years from 1965-1970. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information.
