Car description |

Same owner since 1989, that's 31 years! Beleived to have only 38,392 actual miles. Very original car that's been maintained very well and restored as needed. Documented with Marti report.
EXTERIOR: I believe it to have the original sheet metal. I looked up inside the trunk, there are no splices in the quarters. Bottom of the doors are real clean. Fenders are clean and have the original rolled lip for the 15 inch wheels. The body is clean and straight. It was born with a shaker hood, the spoilers and louvers were added. Repainted once, a long time ago. The color was upgraded from lime to competition yellow. It still shows really well. It has a smooth glossy finish, but when you inspect it you will find various flaws. Upfront the bumper, grill and trim are excellent. In back the bumper, reverse lights, gas cap are all excellent. It has chrome Magnum 500 wheels that are excellent. The tires are brand new, we just installed those. Weather strips and window seals are in real good shape.
INTERIOR: Believed to be the original interior from carpet to headliner. There are some splits in the driver's lower cushion. Other then that the upholstery looks great. It has optional fold down rear seat. The dash pad is mint. The gauges, heater controls, original radio are all proper and clean looking. It has the optional tachometer. I believe that the carpet is even the original, in very good shape. It has a set of pony floormats. It has the correct T-handle Hurst shifter. Headliner is real nice, sail panels have some wrinkles. The door panels and the plastic trim is all very nice. Owner's manual is in the glove box. It has factory manual choke under the dash.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It looks factory correct under the hood. Genuine Boss 302 motor with the screw in freeze plugs, correct aluminum intake and finned valve covers. The shaker hood assembly is complete, even the heat riser tube down to the exhaust manifold. It has correct reproduction hoses, spark plug wires, clamps, Autolite rev limiter. The engine bay is nice clean metal painted satin black. The buck tag is still attached. It has the washer bottle, power brakes, fan shroud, the battery is bolted down. Everything looks very proper.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean, solid metal. There are still stickers and markings on the tail light and marker light housings. New insulated mat. It also has the original space saver spare and correct jack. It is bolted it down properly, even has the felt pad.
UNDERSIDE: Upfront the the upper control arms and balljoints are replaced. Looking up at the motor and trans they are both very fresh looking. It has it's original optional 3.91 traction-Loc rear end. The exhaust looks solid, has crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. It has staggered shocks in back, they look new. Has disc brakes in front, e-brake cables are hooked up. Floors are solid metal.
The Boss is a legendary muscle car icon. Sleak looking performance machine. This one appears to be a very good example with great list of features!
