Car description |

Real Henry Ford steel hot rod. Supercharged motor, chromed chassis. It's a great looking "A"!
EXTERIOR: It has a great stance, body and paint look outstanding and it still has a lot of it's 1930 character. The body and fenders are steel. No signs of damage or rust. It's actually laser straight. The paint is polished like glass. There are some minor flaws you would need to look for to find. It has a relocated fuel filler with a fuel door. The top is replaced with a black cloth, very rich looking. At the top, rear center there is a tear you would need to be 7 ft tall to see. It has the original style bumpers front and back they've all been chromed including their brackets. It has original style headlights with the Ford script and the stainless wire loom and new glass lenses. The cowl lights have new glass lenses. Original style stainless grill shell with a new Quail hood ornament. Original steel louvered hood with chrome latches. It has original style door handles, the doors shut solid. The glass has been replaced with a light tint, windshield still swings out. The welting between the fenders was replaced. It has original style tail lights in back. Original type running boards you can stand on. The polished Torque Thrust wheels look practically brand new. 14 inch in front, 15s in back and much wider. BFG tires all around.
INTERIOR: The interior has good bones. The original seats are good, the passenger side flips forward to allow access to the back. The upholstery is worn and dated. It's fine the way it is, new upholstery would be a big improvement. There are seatbelts with retractable shoulder belts in front. It has a tilt column with LaCarra leather wrapped steering wheel. It has nice levers, pedals and emergency brake lever. The original style chrome instrument bezel has Stewart Warner gauges. There's an Autometer tach on the column. Overhead it has detachable stereo unit.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 350 motor has a B&M polished blower on top with a big dual feed Holley carb. It also has a Mallory ignition and a set of headers. It's decorated with aluminum valve covers and matching breather caps. The plug wires are neatly run in billet holders. A chrome polished water pump and electric fan keeps it cool.
UNDERSIDE: Chrome 4 link suspension front and back. Up front it has tubular drop axle, tubular control arms- all chrome, even the shocks and steering bars are chrome. In back it has chrome tubular control arms, panhard bar and adjustable coil over gas shocks. Disc brakes in front, drum in back. It has stainless braided hoses and a power brake booster mounted under the car. The bottom of the motor has a chrome oil pan, high torque starter and a chrome fuel pump. It uses a Turbo 350 automatic trans with an external oil cooler and a chrome pan. The driveshaft has a safety loop. The rear end looks like it's a Ford 9 inch and it's painted gloss black. It has a boxed frame painted gloss black. Custom exhaust system with crossover pipe and flared tailpipes.
A gentleman purchased this car in California. Unfortunately he passed and the daughters stored the car here the last 5 years in a heated garage. They decided it was time to sell. We detailed and serviced the car to prepare it for sale. I'm really impressed with how good the car looks. The body, paint, stance are sharp. A hot rod with vintage charm!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
Don't be intimidated, contact sales now for a no pressure, no hassle experience!
