Description

Barn find! This old F-150 is 100% rust free. No rot holes anywhere, just surface rust from sitting in a hot, dry, rust free southern South Carolina farm driveway and it hasn't been ran or drove for years. The body is straight, no large dents have been noticed. The paint finish is badly oxidized and you can see the surface rust throughout. The interior is sun bleached and in bad condition needing everything....... seat covers, carpet and door panels. The truck is all original with all of it's parts in place. I haven't attempted to fire it up, so you can consider it non-operable. The truck will make a super good one to restore or an excellent parts donor for your rusted F-series pickup. If you have one of these trucks, especially in the mid-west, you know the condition of most of the ones that are left. They are mostly rotted to junk. These 1980-1986 8' long, dual gas tank beds are near impossible to find in any condition, much less ones that are rust free and pretty straight. Remember! This is an old, but desirable to a few good men or gal's, surface rusty, non-running 1984 model well used pickup truck! It's not new or even nice, fact is, when I brought it home to Kentucky from South Carolina this week, my wife took one look at it, turned around and walked away! What??? What??? Hey! Come back here! I wanted to show you my truck! This is prize stuff Woman! She's in the house and the door slams! HUH?......hummmmm......what does she know anyway, right? I guess I should explain to her that to a few car guy's and gal's who know what they're looking for, it's perfect! If you have need of a parts donor, or if you'd like to restore an oldie......here you go! I consider myself a nice guy and I love to talk old trucks. If you have a question or concern, just ask away.
