As much as I don’twant to, I’m selling my 1966 F-100. This is a real world usable build. The bodyis rough but VERY solid and I planned on keeping it that way. The flat bed wasprofessionally built and over-engineered. It is a high quality piece withaluminum diamond plate. All of the glass is good, everything works, and theinterior is mostly new. The chassis and suspension are basically restored andupgraded. The truck has Power Disc brakes and power steering. The brake systemand the power steering systems are all new components. This thing drives andrides GREAT!! The power train is where all the money went, lots of money.. Theengine is a 397 inch FE. The build started with a zero decked .030 over mirror105 block and a 390 truck crank. The internals are balanced and consist ofEagle H-beam rods, speed pro coated and forged flat top pistons. The valvetrain components consist of a Ford Motorsport double roller timing set,Comp XE274H Hydraulic flat tappet cam,Comp Hardened pushrods, Comp beehive springs with matching locks and retainers, and PRW stainless roller rockers. The Cylinder heads are 72CC chamberEldelbrock Performer RPM. Feeding the FE is an Edelbrock Pro-Flow 4 port EFIsystem. All of the plumbing is Teflon lined braided with AN fittings. The fueltank is a 16 gallon mustang tank with a 250 LPH internal pump (relocated to therear of the truck). The trans is a brand new TCI C-6 with a Hughes 2500 RPMconverter and Lokar shifter. It connects to the 9 inch rear with a custom 5 indiameter aluminum driveshaft. The rear end is 3.31 geared with a Torsen typehelical gear locking differential. Notrades, I’m moving and buying a new house.
All questions are encouraged and will be answered. I have no issues with bidders requesting specific photos or even video. I want my toy to go to a good home. Delivery may be negotiable.
