Award Winning Mustang "Flashback" Supercharged 5.4 ///
As a previous concours judge and lifetime Mustang enthusiast, George Huisman, founder of Classic Design Concepts, created a line of turnkey Mustangs that were built from the ground up to provide a perfect blend of old school Motown style and new school SoCal comfort. This razor-sharp coupe, Flashback number 001, is the very first of those Mustangs; and was at one time both Huisman's personal car and CDC's premier press and show mule. When it debuted at the SEMA show, the car easily walked away with Ford Best in Show and Outstanding Achievement in Design and was prominently featured in numerous print and digital publications. The foundation for Flashback 001's build is a Ford authorized, Dynacorn made all-steel body that displays tight fit and finish, super smooth surfaces and laser-straight style lines. Once the car's top-notch body had been massaged and hand-altered by the folks at CDC, a dynamic coat of custom Sherwin Williams Pearl Blue metal flake was expertly applied under Champagne racing stripes and a glossy clearcoat shell. Cranking out roughly 600 horsepower, Ford Racing's revolutionary modular V8 was influenced heavily by the firm's first GT super car and delivers a muscle car that's both fast and engaging. Behind that modern mill, a smooth Ford 4R70W Automatic Overdrive transmission spins power to a Moser 9-inch rear end that's outfitted with tall, 3.70 gears. And at the corners of the car, Champagne-trimmed Forgeline wheels spin quality Dunlop Direzzas. Between the doors, a CDC designed, keyless-entry-equipped cockpit mixes the fit and reliability of a major OEM manufacturer with a roster of modern amenities. Call, click or visit for more information on this awesome Ford!
