1988 Ford F-150 2 wheel drive short bed

1988 Ford F-150 4.9 inline 6. This truck runs but has a backfire issue. Not sure of the cause I just dont have the time. Very solid, the frame is as clean as they come. The body has only surface rust in a few spots, nothing rusted through. You can see a little bondo on the doors where minor dents were patched. It has a rolled on rust-oleum paint job that is about three years old and held up well. The interior is in great shape. New headlights and tail lights. Good brakes all around. New muffler (installed) and pipes with tips (not installed) Horn needs to be fixed. All emissions have been deleted. gas gauge does not work. This truck is a very solid one that just needs someone with the time and energy it deserves. You can still drive this truck but I wouldnt take it far until the backfire is addressed because it could cause more damage. Clean NYS title and inspected in NY through the end of August 2020. Tool box included! I always used non ethanol gas in this truck. I never drove it in the winter.
