Up for auction is a1966 Ford F-100 pickup. This is a heavy duty, two door cab, style side pickup. The F-100 had a twin I beam, independent, front suspension system firstintroduced by Ford in 1965. This system allows the two front axles to workindependently and provide a much smoother ride. This F-100 is equipped with a352 V8 engine and a three-speed manual transmission on the steering column. Itis equipped with a factory installed AM radio, newer tires that have less than500 miles on them and a new battery. The truck runs well and would make anexcellent daily driver. It is solid and ready for restoration should that beyour desire.
The truck has a recentoil and filter change. This truck is painted red with a white top which was thetwo-tone paint scheme popular at the time. It equipped with a bench seat andthe factory rubber mats. Seatbelts have been added. Please view the photos for completedescription of this vehicle. There is a small amount of rust above the frontpassenger door and on the front leading edge of the hood. The area beneath thefiller cap has had damage to the paint due to a leaking gas cap which has beenreplaced. This truck is easy to drive, and it is a head turner and would be agreat addition as a business vehicle. It does not come with a warranty andplease remember that is a 54-year-old vehicle and it is not in perfect condition.Nevertheless, it isfun to drive.
