This 1948 Ford Roadster is a full custom with a fuel-injected V8, four-wheel disc brakes, a vivid A/C interior, custom removable hardtop, slick paint, and much more.
The investment in this body reminds us instantly why we all love the rounded curves of the 1940s Fords. You know there was a lot that went into the bodywork before the paint even was laid down. The modern blue has that kind of quality that really lets you appreciate every curve as the light rolls evenly across the entire body. Some of the brightwork was eliminated for the more modern appearance. Plus, there are frenched headlights, expertly eliminated door handles, and a cool/custom rear end treatment. But even with this streamlines style, all the right elements are still in place for a great vintage look. After all, the bumpers shine like mirrors and the three-bar grille is iconic. And the 17-inch Billet Specialties wheels and big exhaust tips add to both the shine and sportiness of this coupe.
The color-matched removable top and power windows give this the ability to be buttoned up to the world while providing a distinct coupe-like look. But this is really meant to be a cool open roadster. After all, why else would they have finished everything is such an attention-grabbing red? The custom-stitched upholstery, matching door panels, plush carpeting, custom center console, dash, and even the trunk are all done in the vivid red. And there's even nice detailing, like the trim strip that runs through the doors and wraps around the dash. And while this has an award-worthy look, it was also built with plenty of comfort in mind. That's why you have shoulder belts integrated into the front bucket seats, an AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input, and a Vintage Air system with R134a air condition (will need a recharge). It's a driver-oriented setup with a red and chrome setting wheel on a tilt column, Lokar floor shifter, upgraded pedals, and a full upgraded gauge panel with large speedo and tach.
They saved another great modern upgrade for under the hood. Not only do you have a nice 350 cubic-inch V8, but also it has RamJet fuel injection. Upgraded pulleys, an aluminum radiator, and shorty headers are all part of this package that's made to be a great driving classic. They even upgraded the transmission to a four-speed automatic with overdrive. The upgraded suspension, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes all make it easy to show off this custom Ford near or far.
Full custom builds like this rarely leave their creator's hands, so this is a rare opportunity at something special. Call today!!!
