GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this professionally restored 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible for your consideration. It is powered by a fully rebuilt 289ci V8 motor which features a professionally installed Edelbrock Performer pack. Mated to the strong running motor is an automatic transmission that has also been completely rebuilt. This is a strong running Mustang that creates plenty of power and an aggressive roar from the exhaust when you put your foot down.
The exterior is finished in the infamous Ford color of Candy Apple Red and has a complete exterior appearance with the new GT wheels and complete chrome trim throughout. Out the back of the vehicle are dual chrome exhaust tips which make for not only a great sound, but a great look as well.
Inside, a black vinyl interior is decorated with all of the appropriate chrome trim and is in great condition. It remains in stock configuration with the exception of a Sunpro tachometer and an aftermarket radio with Pioneer speakers. This is a great driving Mustang with new disc brakes and tires. It fires right up and runs strong through every gear.
Perhaps no other car in American automotive history has captured the hearts of consumers more than the Ford Mustang. Since its introduction, its smaller size and its sporty styling made it an instant success among the American public. 50 years later the love affair with the Ford Mustang lives on and has a global following. 1968 was the first year for significant design changes since its inception in 1964.
