Very hard to find one owner 1969 Ford Cargo Van. Survivor. Starts, runs, drives and stops. Looks like original paint on this van. I purchased it from the original owner. He bought it in 1969. He kept up on the maintenance the best he could. I see a lot of newer parts on this van. It is AC equipped, but that doesn't work. Looks like a separate or add-on AC unit in the cargo area as well. I can tell at one time he used this as a camper by the insulation still remaining in the cargo area and AC add on. He did use this van in his drapery business as well. The motor and 'three on the tree' manual transmission seem very strong. No smoke at start up, idles smooth. All doors and windows work. Tires are older but have good tread and no rot. The underside of this van is remarkable. You'll never find one like this up north or out east. I swept it out and rinsed it off but it could really benefit from a deep cleaning and buff. That being said it was a work and recreation van so it's not perfect.
Body is very clean with very little rust and few dings as seen in the pics. The windshield has some stone chips in it, but no cracks. Side and rear glass is good. Passenger side mirror is broken off. Emergency brake works but hangs up a bit when released. Service brakes need to be pumped to stop. Lights and blinkers work. Wipers work but washer reservoir is cracked. Gas gauge does not appear to work. Radio powers on, but speaker shot. Heat works. Exhaust is nice and quiet. So hard to find survivors like this, usually most are bondo machines with rusted frames. Not this one. New owner will be hard pressed to decide whether to drive this vintage van as is, restore it or turn it into that custom conversion van so popular in the 70's. Here's a video of the engine running:
For those of you COVID concerned, we can do this without personal contact. The van is in Green Lake County WI. This county has had less than 100 covid cases and no deaths reported as I write this. Knock on wood.
Buyer is responsible for pick up or transport. If you need assistance I can usually get your vehicle delivered for around $1.50 per loaded mile subject to minimums and maximums. I'll work with overseas buyers.
