Car description

1968 Ford Falcon Wagon car came from Southwest Nebraska was originally 6cyl 3 on the tree now is a fresh 5.0l 302 and C6 auotomatic, engine is all stock except small hydraulic camshaft just for sound has new rings rod and main bearings ARP Head bolts and has edelbrock intake HEI Distributor Moroso plug wires 1 wire alternator new water and fuel pump and new gas tank installed this is a cruiser not a race car as i assume you know. Stock 8in rear was swapped for a 3.73:1 8.8 posi from an Explorer. Brakes were updated to 4 wheel power discs with new calipers and rotors all the way around and new brake booster with a 1" bore dual reservoir master cylinder. Car has new inner and outer tie rods new sway bar links column shortened to accept a universal joint to replace the rotted original rag joint. Car has a new radiator and electric fan and will sit and idle in 100 degree heat all day long at 190 degrees everyone knows how that ruins a good cruise night when the car overheats and the embarrassment is horrible. Car has new heater core installed. new battery the 4 door seals are new Steele brand products exhaust runs back to rear axle with 2-1/2" Flowmaster copies a little loud but not obnoxious but the neighbors will know you fired it up. Interior has a "HIPPY" tweed on dash and door panels and has Chevy Cobalt buckets with a BandM ratchet shifter and New teal colored Carpet a new black headliner. The wiper motor works heater controls work all lights work all the glass is in good condition except windshield which has a crack from top to bottom right down the middle where rear view mirrior was mounted but either fell off or was torn off at some time. I put on the US Mags U111 Rambler wheels 17 x7 rear and 15 x 7 front to give the car some rake to lower it it has 3-1/2" steel lowering blocks on the stock rear leaf springs and Eibach 5x11 700lbs coils in the front with new shocks all the way around and rides surprisingly well you dont feel every crack in the road. Car is fun to drive and has good PATINA look car is very solid I had floor panels put in in the drivers and passengers and drivers rear since they were soft, the torque boxes are solid. I do have another Ford wagon luggage rack that will come with car and the factory rear seat which is usable but dirty. Old solid wagon that turns alot of heads and fun to cruise to the lake or local ice cream shop that has GUINESS on tap, still needs some work but all of the hard stuff is done so you can drive it while you keep improving it and most of it is easy to do yourself such as window felts rear window channels and finish up the interior.
