1969 Ford Torino GT R code SCJ, originally red exterior with black C stripe, black bucket seat interior, ram air, 428 super cobra jet drag pack, 4 speed toploader, 9" N case W code 4:30:1 traction lock rear, power steering, power disc brakes and AM/FM radio, car is one of one per Marti Report ( see picture ). Overall a pretty solid project.
good rad support except bottom front cross tube needs work as everyone hooked the car there to get on a trailer, good front frame rails, inner fenders, shock towers ( no one drilled these out for zert fitting access luckily ), battery tray, cowl, firewall, both sides need front 1/2 floor pan/toe board, somebody jacked the car up at the seat crossmember and dented it,good torque boxes, rockers, rear floor, transition panel to trunk with staggered shock panel, inner wheel wells, outer wheel well on passenger needs patch, good trunk floor and drop offs and rear frame rails.
Front bumper is dented pretty bad, hood is junk, has scoop with lights, front fenders are dented, cowl cover is good, no windshield, dented drivers door, passenger door is toast but comes with a great replacement door, drivers rear 1/4 is dented, passenger rear 1/4 is dented and rust through at the bottom behind the wheel plus a CB antannae hole drilled in it, trunk lip has some pin holes as well as trunk lid. Trim is there for exterior. Came with standard mirrors.
Big sway bar with spacers is there, all original stock front and rear suspension is on the car, front discs and rear drums, longer rear shackles were added some time, 9" rear and 31 spline axles are in place, original styled steel chrome wheels and caps/rings are on car.
Interior is missing some things, mint padded dash and tach cluster is there, lower metal dash with radio still in place, loose bucket seats with spacers and tracks, passenger side door panel but missing driver side( I might have one on a parts car ), back seat, belts all there as well as package tray and sail panels/trim, missing driver side kick panel.
Rebuilt 428 super cobra jet long block on engine stand, correct casting intake but earlier date, same with rebuilt heads, heads have stainless exhaust valves with hardened seats and matched springs, block is correct casting and date for the build date, TRW .30 over forged pistons, 2287P with corrected valve reliefs, resized LeMans rods with cap screws, 1UA SCJ crank with hatchet, correct fat balancer, balanced and assembled.
Four speed toploader is correct casting numbers but not cars original transmission, RUG AJ, close ratio 31 spline tail, big in big out transmission, also have a correct bellhousing with the "Z" on it.
Car is one of one, has the inner fender stampings on it, dash tag, door tag, deluxe Marti report, personalized Marti report and clear Pennsylvania title. Car is for sale locally and listed on Craigslist Philadelphia in "Doylestown 18902". I can end this auction at any time.
I am also listing 3 fairlane 500 great project cars.
I have the stuff to make those into Cobras or R codes as well.
I have the tiny remains of a 1969 Ford Cobra fastback, meadow lark yellow, 4 speed, nothing left but cowl, firewall with dash tag, inner fender numbers, title ( still waiting on delayed DMV ), Marti report, door tag and vin stamped block. Also on Craigslist.
Car can be seen/inspected nights and weekends. Can email pictures of any area you need. Have other 68/69 parts. Call
I am going to loosely assemble this car this week, motor in etc. Can help load. Thank you
