Car description

I have a lot of great things to say about this one! Very high quality from a collector that loved this car. I personally drove home and around town two days in a row. Not only did I love it, but my wife said we should keep it. The car was born in California and I bought it in California! A 3 ring binder is full of restoration documentation.
EXTERIOR: The body is absolutely straight, no bubbles or damage. It fits square and flush. Great colors and the paint is polished out smooth and glossy. Hand pinstriped 50s style. All new glass. All new weatherstrips and rubber gaskets. Every piece of exterior chrome and trim is new. I love the new 15x7 chrome artillery wheels with baby moon caps. Rides on radial wide whitewall tires. Has LED running and taillights.
INTERIOR: Restored from carpet to headliner and matches the exterior. The dash area was completely restored including rebuilt gauges, even the clock works. It also has a hot rod style tachometer and a gauge cluster. There is a cd stereo neatly mounted in the glovebox and a subwoofer under the seat. New headlight switch, heater cables, speedo cable, flasher can, etc. New Ididit polished tilt column with a gorgeous $364 steering wheel. The seats and door panels were reupholstered. All the metal trim has been painted smooth and glossy. Has seat belts front and back. Every where you look, it is like new inside.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Upgraded Thunderbird 312 motor with professional performance build. Putting out 320 hp and 350 lbs of torque. I have 3 page detailed invoice on the motor, $6,789. It was completely redone- bored, decked, balanced, line honed, glass beaded block. New parts- pistons, Isky cam, bearings, timing set, valves, lifters etc. Also has Reds ceramic coated dual tube headers with stainless bolts, Pertronix ignition system, a street demon 4 barrel carb with electric choke and K&N filter on an aluminum intake. It is dressed up with finned valve covers and valley cover below intake. It's a good looking motor. A polished aluminum radiator and electric fan keeps it cool. All new power steering system. Upgraded to a 12 volt electrical system. New 140 amp alternator, wiring, electric wipers, battery is properly bolted down. The heater system is complete. The engine bay is clean metal, painted neatly.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has been boxed and upholstered in turquoise pleated material on the sides. Custom made matching tire cover too. Has a carpeted floor. It is also full trunks with awards and trophies that this car has earned. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted real nice, the weather strip is new.
UNDERSIDE: The front end is not only rebuilt but it's detailed like a new car. All the suspension is painted, all the nuts and bolts are new. Has new bushings,
KYB shocks, swaybar springs etc. Rear suspension is new too- springs, bushings and air shocks. The bottom of the motor is spotless. New (not used or rebuilt) Tremec 5-speed transmission. All new clutch, Hurst shifter and all related hardware. Has a custom made 3 inch, balanced drive shaft with new u-joints. Has a rebuilt rear end with 3.89 gears. The fuel system is new including the tank, straps, sending unit and lines. The brakes have been completely redone, e-brake assembly is complete. Great sounding custom magnaflow dual exhaust with a crossover pipe. Bottom of the car is rock solid. The floors are under coated, the chassis is painted black. New body bushings.
It was such an easy car to drive. We cruised all over and enjoyed it very much. Finally I'm at a red light, it turned green so I decided to get on it- what a surprise! This ole Ford is quick! The new owner will absolutely be very happy with this one.
