GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this wonderful 1971 Ford Ranchero Squire for your consideration. This Ranchero was optioned with the 302ci V8 motor which was paired with an automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission are in strong condition and work well together at both neighborhood and highway speeds.
This example was optioned in the top of the line Ranchero Squire trim which took design cues such as the wood paneling off of Ford's Country Squire wagon. The exterior is finished in Ford's color of Bright Red and features a black vinyl roof and chrome trim. All together the exterior of the car is in great condition and presents itself nicely.
The interior is black and features dashboard wood accents, a vinyl seat, and various chrome trim pieces throughout. It is a pleasant place to be especially with a working AM radio allowing one to listen to the radio while cruising in this sweet car/truck.
Ford's Ranchero is definitely one of the most unique looking cars on the market as many do not know whether to call it a car or a truck. It is built on a car chassis, drives like a car, but features the bed of a light truck. The body lines transition effortlessly between the front of the "car" into the bed of the "truck." Ford gave the Ranchero a plethora of engine options going all of the way from a little inline-6 up to the insane 429ci Cobra Jet V8 which pushed out 370 horsepower. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information on this awesome Ranchero.
