1967 GT500E Super Snake Eleanor #269 In The Shelby "Eleanor" World Registry! A True GT 390 "S" Code Big Block Four Speed Car That Has Under Gone A No Expense Spared Rotisserie Restoration! Exceptionally Documented With True Pedigree! This is the ONLY Eleanor of its kind. It has undergone a very lengthy and exceptionally costly restoration. It was completed in November of 2014. less than six months ago and it has had only 50 miles put on it since its completion. The craftsmanship of this build is unlike any other. While the body lines are laser straight. the sheer power of the original 390 is surreal. It has been built to pack some serious horse power. It is not for the faint of heart. The restoration of this Eleanor was clearly very extensive and meticulous. The attention to detail is just absolutely phenomenal. From its movie correct Dupont Pepper Gray Metallic paint down to the "Go Baby Go" shifter. nothing was overlooked. In addition to insuring that the car maintain its integrity. the builder also opted to load it down with options. Such as cold AC. four wheel disc brakes. back up camera. touch screen head unit. a killer sound system. high dollar Carroll Shelby leather seats & signed dash. I can tell you with absolute certainty that you will not find another Eleanor that can hold a candle to this one. The body of this Mustang is laser straight. It was professionally painted in a two stage. base coat clear coat. The correct and high dollar Dupont Pepper Gray Metallic was used. I personally do not believe Chip Foose could have done a better job laying it down. Multiple layers of clear was also laid down which was wet sanded and polished to perfection. The correct Super Snake triple stripes line up exceptionally well. All of the stainless through out the car is in excellent shape as is the smoke tinted glass. Through out the car you will find the correct GT500 & Super Snake badges. The Eleanor also has the movie correct side mirrors which really give her a very retro look. The original matching 390 within this car was completely tore down and rebuilt. It was built to perform as you will see within the video located below. Punch the gas and you can just feel gravity forcing you back in to your seat. She feels just as mean as she sounds. The four speed transmission was also completely gone through and it does shift out perfectly. The rear end was completely gone through and does have a posi. All of the suspension on this car is brand new as is the entire fuel system and brake system. The four wheel disc brake setup on this car handles exceptionally well. The car stops with ease and does not pull. shake. or shimmy when braking. The steering on the car also handles exceptionally well. It does not pull nor give much in the way of play. It is very tight and handles remarkably well. The interior of the Eleanor is exceptional. The dash pad. door panels. bucket seats. back seat. carpet. head liner. steering wheel. head unit. speakers. shifter. it is all new. Included with the car is loads of documentation. Which includes the Deluxe Marti Report. showing that this is a true GT big block car. the Eleanor World Registry Certificate. a thumb drive which details the entire restoration of the Eleanor. a set of correct Super Snake pedals. a full size print from the movie "Gone In 60 Seconds". and any other documentation we have that came with the car. There are plenty of Eleanors to look at but none of this caliber. This is not some converted coupe. it is not a small block or even an inline six car. No. this is a true GT numbers matching "S" code 390 four speed car that has already won awards and is destined to win more. I would like to forewarn anyone who is interested that if you are not big on attention. then this is not the car for you. It seems like no matter where we take this thing. people just flock to it. I have had a lot of cars in my time but nothing that has attracted attention like this thing. In one regard it is a lot of fun and a great way to meet new people. On the other hand. if you don't have a couple of hours to invest every time you go to get gas. well then this might not be the car for you.
