1930 Ford Model A Hot Rod
Selling our beautiful 1930 Ford Model A Coupe that was featured in the Fall 2012 Hot Rods and Harleys Magazine. Built nearly 20 years ago, the Model A still shows very well and has won numerous regional and local awards, most recently the 2019 Seabrook Classic Car Show at Monmouth Racetrack, NJ (Best Street Rod).
The "A" features an all steel Henry Ford steel body (minus the deck lid, which were not being made in steel when the car was built) and an original "boxed" Ford Model A frame that is finished off in a black high gloss and polished Dupont Imron paint.
The car sports a SBC 350 CU crate motor (four bolt main, 276hp) tied to a turbo 350 transmission and a 10 bolt posi rearend. Supplying the air fuel mixture is a vintage 2 pot Holley 94 set up. We custom built the lake style headers and dual exhaust utilizing Flowmaster Hush Power stainless Steel mufflers, which gives it a nice low rumble. Fuel is supplied via a 15 gal fuel cell mounted in the trunk. The interior was professionally done; the seats, door and kick panels are constructed of marine vinyl, which shows very well and with minimal wear. The BF Goodrich Radial Wide Whites have about 5,000 miles on them.
