No air conditioning or other late model amenities, such as power windows and power door locks. However, it does have heated seats!!I'm the third owner of the vehicle. My father acquired in 1983 and I acquired from his estate in 2011. Non-smoking Owners. Vehicle Overview Report (Clean) is available upon request. We affectionately call her "The Beast". I don't need to sell her, but after nearly 10 years it is time to hand her over to a new family. Honestly, I have too many toys at my high-mountain cabin, and it is time to "thin the herd" to keep my wife happy!!My main offroad vehicle is a 2-man 1951 Willys CJ3A with a Ford 289 V8 small block. The Jeep has been extensively customized for back country fishing adventures. The Bronco was only used when additional guests visited our cabin, and we required 2 boats and 2 vehicles for fishing. The 1951 Willys will be sold next, after I complete the offroad conversion of my 2005 Lexus GX470 in late June 2020. Hagerty values a "fair" quality 1979 Ford Custom at $12,300 (May 2020 copy available upon request). I'm anticipating bids in excess of that amount since Hagerty has no way of valuing the extra offroading features. Please read below and look at the images for more details. My loss is your gain (Invested $39,500). For the past 8 years, the Bronco has been parked at my cabin on the Grand Mesa under soft cover. Bad decision on my part! Grand Mesa receives over 400 inches of snow each winter, and the weight of the snow on a flat surface can cause metal to buckle. As well, that amount of snow will conceal the presence of a vehicle under mounds of snow and result in snow mobiles riding over the top ... which is what happened this past winter. FULL DISCLOSURE: There is minor cosmetic damage to the hood, roof and fiberglass shell from snow accumulation. That is the reason for the "fair" condition rating and the price point. The exterior was fully detailed on June 1, and it looks amazing! It looks and runs great.FOR YOUR INFORMATION: OEM reproduction parts are available from Auto Metal Direct (http://www.autometaldirect.com), and my asking price reflects the inconvenience factor and the cost of new body panels, new paint and labor. Driven Auto Parts located in Phoenix AZ has used, good quality parts for 50% of the cost of new OEM reproductionsActual mileage on the vehicle is around 50,000 miles. When Midas serviced the vehicle in January 2012, the odometer read 48,699. During one of the winter upgrades, the "scrap" instrument cluster and odometer were mistakenly installed. The original instrument panel and gauges which I had pulled to repaint the needle on the various gauges are available for you to reinstall (see pics for proof). At most, the vehicle was driven 100 miles per year on the Grand Mesa.In 2011, the body was fully sandblasted, body work completed and then primed and painted. New floor pans were installed to replace those rusted out beneath the factory carpeting. To prevent this from happening again, the entire flooring of the Bronco was coated with black Rhino epoxy lining. I have pics of the undercarriage if helpful. The offroad and engine mechanical work was performed over 4 winters by The Barney Brothers Off-Road in Grand Junction. You can visit their website at https://www.barneybrothers.com/. Ask to speak with either Chad or Darrin Barney. They know the Bronco very well!!A sample of the upgrades is shown below: New car coverNew Sound insulation (floor boards and engine compartment)New carpetingNew Weathertech floor matsNew Seat cushions and covers from F&H Upholstery Shop in WheatridgeNew Seat HeatersNew Pioneer sound system and in-door speakersNew hoses, belts, etc.New AGM Intimidator Deep Cycle battery, always kept on NOCO G4 tender in the winterAll new rubber (gaskets, seals, etc) provided by Jeff's Bronco Graveyard.
