Car description

This auction is for a garage find (15 Years of dust) 1970 Ford Mach 1. The mileage on this car is only 40,281 and also has 3 build sheets that were found in the car!! The paint code is 1 which is Calypso Coral. The engine code is "M" (which is a 300hp-351 Cleveland-4 barrel Carb). The condition of the body is amazing for its age. As you can see by the pictures, there is very minimal rust on the floors and trunk. There is slight damage to the radiator support. There is a small amount of rust on the bottom of the rear quarters. The doors and fenders are good. The glassis goodwith small scratches but thewindshield is cracked. Most of the exterior paint has been stripped to the bear metal and primed. The motor again, was never started. The brakes do work and could be put on a trailer with ease.

Here's the motor details: What we ere told when we purchased.

  • Motor was totally rebuilt 15 years ago but never started
  • Block was boiled, flushed, and honed
  • 4 barrel heads were magnafluxed, shaved, and a complete build
  • Has new cam, lifters, timing chain and gears, oil pump, MSD ignition,MSD ignition control, new alternator, new starter, new Ford Cobra Air cleaner, Valve covers, andEdelbrock RPM Airgap intake

The interior mostly needs redone...BUT..the seats are in great shape but need recovered. The back seats are really good but the stitching could use re-stitching (see pics).

The car also comes with 2 new bumpers and lower valence.

This car was an amazing find. When we went to look at the car, we were shocked because it was better than expected (which never happens!!). This car is a great foundation for the American Muscle Car!!!
