1950 Ford F-5 Firetruck

This is a rare find!1950 Ford F-5.It originally came from a firehouse in South Dakota through an eBay purchase, about 10-12 years ago.I spoke with the guy that bought it back then and he assures me the miles are correct at 3,600, but I have no paperwork to prove this.This jewel starts, runs, drives, and stops.You won’t find any rust on this baby.It was restored several years ago and then the brand-new utility bed was added as the owner used it as part of his barbeque business.The seat and window glass are original. It has a flat head V8 motor and a 4-speed transmission. The bench seat is original.It sports new tires and a completely new brake system.You will love to see the lights flash and the siren scream.All the lights and gages work except the horn button.I recently had the carburetor rebuilt by my main man Stan in Daytona Beach and the gas tank removed and professionally flushed out.It’s definitely a 10-footer with some chips and small defects in the paint, but selling “as is, where is”.Great for a parade, a business, or a fire department looking for their old one back in the house.Sammy would be happy to answer any questions you may have.Come on out and take a look, you won’t be disappointed.
