Car description |
---|
This is a 1965 Falcon has not been on the road for about 10 years. The following are all new: gas tank, sending unit electric fuel pump, water pump front & rear wheel cylinders, high torque starter & trunk mat & new front tires.
The car has weld-on Shelby traction bars, 4 adjustable drag shocks, c-4 trans with a ratchet shifter 8.8 rear limited slip, frame connectors, 351 windsor with afr heads, a crane high lift cam with roller rockers, edelbrock torker manifold, 750 holly, long tube headers tied into syntech mufflers & exhaust. 2 electric fans, street drag slicks on rear, balance sheet on engine all within half a gram. There is a slight leak in the trans shiftier shaft & possibly rear seal from sitting, but not bad.
The body is in very good shape with no visible rust. There is some chips in the paint & the body is straight. There is some visual pitting on the front bumper, cragars & some chrome. (see pics) The paint is very nice.
The interior is in good conditions except for the imperfections in the back seat shown in pics headliner is great. The following items work: CD player, tachometer, blinkers, lights & gas gauge. You must turn a toggle switch on to run the fuel pump & another switch for the fans.
I believe this was an old drag car or street racer. It is a very cool car & hard to find another one like it. I have a clean Florida title. i think engine is 1971 same with tranny
I am liquidating my collection. I only drove the car down the block to verify it ran very strong.it sits a little high in front like old school race car sounds mean would like to keep but to many cars have cam specs have to find compression good 180 psi oil pressure 40 to 60 idle cam very choppy really cool
Buyer must leave a $500 deposit through PayPal and make arrangements to pay the balance. The car must be removed within 7 days unless other arrangements are made.
You are welcome to look at the car with an appointment.
And questions call Tom {845) 239-1004 (This is my NY cell, but I live in Florida where the car is)
I have described the car to the best of my knowledge.
Serious bidders only.
