1935 Ford Panel Truck
I came across this truck at the swap meet at the Lonestar Roundup in Austin, Texas in 2016. It had been a working plumbing truck in San Antonio, Texas for many years and was left in a warehouse for about 50 years. The minute I saw this truck, I knew I had to own it!!
After purchase, I started the task of recreating it to what I envisioned, a Sinclair Truck. Below is a list of the modifications to make this truck a solid driver.
I have owned this truck for 4 years, and drive it to work, and around town. I have taken this 1935 Ford Panel Truck to several car shows; I had always wanted one to put the Sinclair logo on because my dad owned a Sinclair Station. It had been the centerpiece for many of our family photos. Having owned it for several years, I am ready to move on to something else. I hope the next owner of this great truck loves and appreciates it as much as I have these last several years.
This 1935 Ford Panel Truck has a great ride and drive. No sloppy steering or grinding transmission. There is nothing really to apologize about this truck. Be sure and notice the radio antenna on top. The logo on the sides can easily be changed out to fit the next owners needs. It can easily be sanded off and repainted with whatever you may want.
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. It is a great panel truck.

- Replaced worn out Flathead with a stock 350 Chevy engine
- Rebuilt stock 3 speed transmission
- Rebuilt stock rear end
- Replaced mechanical brakes with juice brakes
- New Bob Drake gas tank and fuel lines
- Installed a 4 inch dropped axle and drop spring up front
- Installed a 1940 Ford steering gear box
- Installed dropped rear spring
- Installed tube shocks (front and rear)
- New Vintique wheels with 600-16 and 700-16 Firestones
- Rewired for 12 volt
- Fuel, oil, and water gauges added under dash
- Original speedometer works perfectly
- Recovered original bucket seats and installed new floor mat
- Truck still retains the original 1935 door panels, wood in the bed floor and the wood panels on the interior sides
