Car description |

1951 Ford Custom/Restomod project car.
This was originally a 1951 Ford Deluxe 2 door sedan, per the title and the goal was to turn it into a cool restomod roadster, being no roof. All the drive train is complete, almost all of the metal work is complete and there are a ton of new parts all done with great very high level quality. Please read on as there are lots of options here with this car.
I think of course one option is to finish the car as a roadster and have a great custom. Another option is if you have a Ford or any car of the same general years and want to restomod it, this not only have every single part you need even down to new hardware, it is a perfect blue print to go by. You could literally plug this whole thing in another car easily with this one as a guide and I am selling it for much less than you can buy the parts.
The only reason I am selling it is to concentrate on the running/driving cars I have and not continue on a bigger project. This is a running car, runs and shifts perfectly. A fuel injected 302 with overdrive and it runs great.
Engine: Rebuilt 302 (1989) with FI Tech fuel injection system, Chrome headers, serpentine pulley system, aluminum intake and valve covers, electronic ignition, cleaned and painted. Chrome dip stick, Lokar transmission dip stick.
Transmission: Ford overdrive completely rebuilt with a Lokar shifter.
New drive shaft, completely new exhaust, New aluminum radiator with electric fan.
New Chrome steering tilt column with a Grant steering wheel.
4 wheel disc bakes with a power master cylinder.
Some new suspension parts included shocks and front springs and other parts.
New 15 inch tires and chrome reverse wheels. I have the center caps, they are just not shown in the pictures.
Two new Procar low back bucket seats, tan ( not shown, can send picture if you want ).
New fuel tank.
All new wiring throughout and everything works. It starts with a push button switch and has toggle switches for fuel pump, lights and accessories.
Body work: All the metal work is complete to a very high level and about the only thing left is a header at the windshield. Before the top was cutoff the body was braced in multiple places. The B pillar is braced along with the package tray area. New floor pans. The side trim holes are filled. New rockers. The rear back area now has a roll pan instead of a bumper. There is no more body rust, all that is fixed. The area on the door where there were window tracks and door ends are all filled and smooth. New side panels in the engine bay. Frenched headlights. Door holes on outside are filled and you can reach inside to open the door. Doors align great.
I have bumpers and the brackets which are good for an exchange for new, the grill pieces are in the car in that picture.
I have the windshield trim pieces. I also have new tail light lenses. I do have the FI Tech box with the instructions.
This could be a very cool car or you have a complete set of parts to move to another car, literally every piece, even bolts.
I am pricing it at a loss which often happens with classic cars. That is ok, I just hope someone can make good use of the car and/or the parts and enjoy.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
Only bid if you plan on paying for it.
No trades.
Payment by bank transfer or cash only please.
Pickup only, I will not deliver or arrange shipping.
Sold As Is.
Thank you for looking and bidding.
