This 1915 model T Touring car will give you years of wonderful touring and family fun. I cannot drive it any more due to nephropathy and drop foot. You could drive it today to California. The biggest improvement is a Warford transmission which gives you three additional gear ranges with a high and low each from the Model T Transmission. This is an under-drive, direct-drive, and over-drive additional transmission. You'll get the same gear ratio as a 3:1 high speed ring & pinion gear, but you won't have to sacrifice your climbing ability. You can shift gears at any speed and won't even have to use your clutch if you back off on the gas. The standard model T only has high and low ranges. With the ultra low you can go anywhere. Currently the Warford transmission cost$ 2850.00 plus installation. The motor was rebuilt before I bought it and it has a high compression head currently costing $400.00 and aluminum pistons. The motor is very strong. The addition of a Texas T distributor (cost $315.00) and a Texas T alternator (cost $274.00) gives the car plenty of dependable fire. Should you want to convert back to coils you can see from the pictures it would be easy to do. Another huge improvement is the addition of hydraulic disc brakes( ($1125.00 plus instillation). The original brakes and even the Rocky mountain brakes have little stopping ability especially in rain. The rear end has been rebuilt. It has virtually new Cartouce upholstery, inner panels and an almost new top. Converted to 12 volt with two 6 volt red top batteries and a 12 volt outlet at the steering wheel. The turn signals are excellent and the brake lights give everyone plenty of warning. No need to trailer daily on a tour as a tonneau will keep the interior dry. There is a correct speedometer and more. Five McLaren wire wheels make it look and drive better (cost over $600.00 each).Don't let this fine car get away! Woops I forgot to list that the car is hand crank.
