For sale is my 1974 Ford Bronco Ranger, it was ordered new in Los Angeles California and spent the vast majority of it's life in Barstow California and Phoenix Arizona. Just got back to NC. Rust free, all original panels, floors ect...never had metal work. Previous owner had it since 1989.
The Bronco is powered by a 302 V8 backed by a C4 Automatic transmission in great running order. Bronco has a true dual exhaust, updated electronics and carb. Truck will do 65 mph down the road without issue.
The suspension and drivetrain have been built to handle offroading in the western deserts. Built Ford 9 inch rear with 4.56 gears and locker, and built Dana 44 with 4.56 gears and an Eaton Tru-Trac make up the axles. Rancho Quad shocks front and rear along with a 4 inch lift and BFG 35x12.5R15 tires mounted on Enkei wheels help this Bronco over rough terrain.
Interior is in good shape and everything works as it should. The seats show no tears or major wear, black carpet is in good condition. The dash has all the factory gauges and controls in good working order along with a vintage Stewart- Warner tachometer. The modern radio and speakers work great. Dash pad does have one crack visible in the photos. The center console is a very cool vintage Igloo Cool Rest!
Body is in good condition and has zero signs of rust, look at the photos of the floors! The body lines are straight, the doors, gate and hood open and close nicely. The red paint is older and not nearly perfect, somewhere 6-7 out of 10. The Bronco would need a repaint to be near perfect but the current paint is more than sufficient for a weekend driver or adventure rig. The top has been shortened from a full hardtop to a half cab and shows some wear. There is a fullsize spare mounted to the roll cage in the bed along with a high lift jack. The chrome brush guard on the front of the Bronco holds two LED trail lights.
The Bronco has spent most of it's life as an older gentleman’s off road toy in the Arizona desert. It was very purpose built and loved. Truck is setup to thrive on any weekend adventure.
