1911 Ford Model T Openrunabout. This is not a kit car. This car sat in a car collection in California for over 70 years. The collection was sold and this car ended up in another collection until 5 years ago, I drive the car regularly and it runs better than when it was new. The items listed are not original. It has a Ruxtell rear end, coil box, The seat has been recovered in original pattern and in leather, It has Budd wire wheels, Windshield glass has been replaced with safety glass. The car was repainted sometime in the early sixty's in the rare red it came in.I know there's those out there that say they didn't come in red but read the Bruce McCalley book page 87. The tires are usable and i drive on them all the time. I wouldn't take a cross country trip on these tires. I would take a long trip in this car almost anywhere. The car dose have accessories brakes. The price is as listed. The car is worth more than the asking price but is firm. The car has quite the history and the new owner will know the history upon purchase. All wood and sheet metal is rot and rust free. There is a complete car cover as shown in photos and full set of side curtains. Original Motor was professionally rebuilt in the sixty's. The car shows at Greenfield Village. Wins many peoples chose awards at car shows almost everywhere it goes. The motor is a closed valve motor. Motor number is #86988. I cannot enplane how clean this car is but its worth every bit of what i'm asking and would show well in any car collection or car show. Great car to tour in and I do all the time.
