AWESOME SHOP TRUCK, MERCURY CHASSIS, V8, AUTO, PWR STEERING, PWR DISC BRAKES! This truck starts easily and runs strong. A super fun truck as is, or an easy shop truck or driving restoration project. Take a look at the details, pictures and video below, then call Erick at 678-908-6006.
Cosmetic
  • Paint/Body: Straight body with very minimal rust. A few small spots of filler bottom of the doors and cab corners. Paint is an old hotrod flame job and actually still looks cool all faded out like it is. Would be an easy shop truck project to sand and paint, or a good candidate for a nice restoration.
  • Interior: Clean original dash with original gauge cluster present. New stereo just needs the fuse. Later model bench seat is very comfy. Drivers interior door handle is broken, but we have ordered the replacement piece and should be a quick fix.
  • Glass/Windows: All of the glass is in great shape, except the passenger window that is cracked. Windows roll up and down easily.
  • Trunk: Cool old reclaimed wood in the bed.
  • Undercarriage: Mercury frame is solid and zero rust. The original cab and body of this truck are in great shape and super minimal rust underneath (see video inspection). Floor pans are solid and rust free.
  • Wheels/Tires: Brand new wheels and tires give this a sweet hotrod look.
Mechanical
  • Drivetrain: 351 V8 starts easily and runs strong. Automatic transmission has a crisp shift and goes through the gears smoothly. This truck is so easy to drive with independent front suspension, power steering and power disc brakes it tracks down the road nicely and rides very smooth.
  • Lights/Electrical: Headlights, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights all work as they should. Drivers side windshield wiper works, but the passenger is not hooked up.
  • Brakes: Power disc brakes, may need to be bled. Stop straight but they lock in rear before the front. Should be an easy adjustment.
  • Power Options: Power steering.
This is a great shop truck and super fun and easy to drive. Everyone wants a picture with this old school ride! Watch the video then call Erick at 678-908-6006.
