This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport Coupe is a recently restored full-red hardtop with upgraded V8 power. It makes for a true premium cruiser with plenty of Americana flair.
Crimson Red instantly gets this coupe noticed. And this is the kind of car that deserves plenty of attention. The Fairlane was starting to embrace the best role of the intermediate-sized cars. It was able to look upscale with its wide chrome bumpers and formal roofline. At the same time, you were getting sporty style with the full-length trim strip and afterburner taillights. Even the 289 fender callouts and mag-style wheels are part of a reminder that the muscle car era was born in this segment.
The red interior looks terrific against the red exterior, so you know you'll be leaving all the windows down on this pillarless hardtop for everyone to get a closer look. Just like the outside, there was a nice investment inside to make sure this one delivered a mix of premium and sporty. That's why the seats are supple, and they have a terrific style, right down to the insignia trim. Plush carpeting, a new bright white headliner, and taut door panels complete the kind of package that you'll proudly share with family and friends. And this one remains vintage, right down to the working AM radio. However, your favorite parts are going to be how much this is a machine built for the driver. That means bucket seats with a stylish center console in-between to ensure you have individual space no matter how many people are along for the ride.
The motor was a big part of the restoration with nearly $3,000 invested here alone. And since that was less than two years ago, everything remains fresh. They started with Ford's stout 289 cubic-inch V8. It has been enhanced and fortified with a bored .40 over kit, 351 Windsor heads, forged TRW pistons, Lunati .512 lift cam, Harland Sharp roller rockers, an MSD ignition, Weiand Street Warrior aluminum intake, and topped with a Holley 600 four-barrel carburetor. It's a powerful package that starts eagerly, runs strong, and makes a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. And because you want to enjoy this powerful coupe to the fullest, it comes with nice cruising features, like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front.
Powerful, smooth, and sophisticated, this Fairlane hardtop is a well restored classic made for people who like distinguished V8 machines. Call today!!!
