There's a reason songs were written about the Ford Deuce coupe, and this awesome streetrod is further evidence that nothing is cooler than a slick-built '32 Ford 3-window coupe. Equipped with a powerful 355 V8 crate motor, a sizzling two-tone paint job, and beautiful leather interior, this is a show car that can definitely walk the walk.
Built only 3,735 miles ago, this awesome 3-window coupe was built with a fiberglass body, which means no actual 1932 Fords were harmed in the construction, and the end result is about ten times nicer and much more durable than any original you're likely to find. With an aggressive rake, big-n-little tire combination, and a fender-less body, it's a modern take on a traditional hi-boy, and we definitely love the look. The Dark Red Metallic-on-Champagne paint is absolutely dialed-in, applied by experts and only showing very minor signs of use since it was finished. Execution was first-class throughout, with laser-straight bodywork, excellent panel gaps, and an attention to detail that makes great rods like this stand out amongst the crowd. Smoked glass all around adds to the high-tech look, as do the LED taillights, deleted bumpers, and exposed custom suspension, and details like the King Bee-style headlights and one-piece windshield are traditional components that look right.
Inside, you'll be stunned by the gorgeous beige leather upholstery that was beautifully installed throughout the cabin. Wonderfully complementing the external paint scheme, the TEAS leather buckets offer ostrich-skin inserts, and the look is very trick but not over-the-top. There's a surprising amount of room in there, even with the chopped top, and with all the modern conveniences and low miles on the build, you shouldn't be afraid to run this one cross-country. The Flaming River steering column is a beautiful polished tilt unit topped by a slick, ostrich-skin wrapped billet wheel that feels great in the hands of any driver. A custom dash was finished to match the exterior and A/C vents and controls were then cleverly integrated into the overall design, and the centered Dolphin gauges offer a retro font and delicate pointers to tie it all together quite nicely. There's also a powerful AM/FM/CD/AUX stereo system and power window switches installed overhead inside a gorgeous custom panel, and the headliner all around offers more beige leather detailing. The trunk features custom panels (including one for the battery) and is surprisingly spacious, big enough to handle luggage for two people, making this a real no-compromises rod.
Wherever you're going, however, it won't take long to get there thanks to the potent 355 cubic inch V8 crate motor up front. Topped by a 4-barrel carburetor and a polished aluminum intake, it has horsepower written all over it with strong throttle response up and down the speedometer. The block was painted Dark Red Metallic to match the exterior, and chrome and polished pieces are everywhere, including bright valve covers and a matching air cleaner. A big radiator with an electric fan keeps it cool, all the plumbing has been neatly routed to keep it out of sight, and the inner fenders and firewall were smoothed and painted to match the Champagne section of the exterior. The custom suspension is from Heidts and it's all been beautifully polished to contrast the slick Champagne-painted frame, and a Mustang II style front end with rack-and-pinion steering is up front, with adjustable coilovers and power 4-wheel disc brakes at each corner. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and handles all the power, spinning a Ford 9-inch rear out back. Beautiful 17- and 20-inch chrome Budnik wheels wear 215/45/17 front and 295/45/20 rear BFGoodrich performance rubber to finish off the traditional hi-boy look.
This awesome rod has only 3,735 shakedown miles, so it's ready to cruise for years to come. Just be ready for the crowds that will surely follow. Call today!
