Somewhere between a muscle machine and true 4x4 workhorse is this 1973 Ford F-100. With its powerful big block V8, four-on-the-floor, upgraded features, and off-road prowess, you get an attention-grabbing vintage appearance wrapped in a ready-to-work attitude.
The sleek blue with a nice metallic element makes this a standout. Plus, it has nice features like the premium full-length trim and upgraded Pro Comp polished wheels. And some of the most attractive parts of this pickup are also what give it its greatest versatility, too. For example, you have nice diamond plating on the rear step bumper, protecting the bed sides, and on the Craftsman toolbox. The steel mesh tailgate is both good for aerodynamics and is built to accommodate a fifth wheel trailer. The bed is done in a protective liner paint and the holes for the fifth wheel are already in place. You also have wide trailering mirrors and a proper rear hitch ready to go. And don't forget about this truck's stance. The tall 4x4 profile gives this the same appeal as a Highboy. So this one is ready to tackle any task you're up for.
The interior has a nice look with newer door panels, headliner, and plush carpeting. And the upgraded black and white bench seat has a cushy fell with true classic appeal. The AM/FM/CD stereo is a nice modern addition that includes a UDB input for your phone. Plus, the added oil temp gauge is particularly handy for when your pulling real truck duty.
There was a big upgrade under the hood. The 390 cubic-inch V8 is a fine motor, but we love that it was exchanged for the largest motor available in the series. Ford's huge 460 cubic-inch V8 was expertly installed, and it has the tidy look of a proper investment. It has been upgraded with nice pieces like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and MSD Pro billet distributor. Plus, there have been a solid investment in the fundamentals with newer parts like the water pump, fuel pump, alternator, power brake booster, and more. It's a great power package, that when combined with control the four-speed manual transmission, gives a hint of muscle truck for the streets. But this burly V8 also has another purpose. It's a proper 4x4 with a two-speed transfer case, enhanced ground clearance, Rancho RS 5000 shocks, and a great set of Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, service manuals, and build receipts. This is the bright, beefy, and all-around capable classic truck. So don't miss out on a total package, call today!
