Car description

Mustang fans, this is how you build the ultimate restomod. Take arguably the best-looking Mustang of them all, paint it in an outstanding coat of Silver Metallic finish, give it a insanely powerful 5.0L Aluminator supercharged crate motor and a 6-speed manual transmission, then go have some fun conquering the classic car world. Showing only 1,495 miles since it was finished by the pros at Dotson Tuning, this is an extremely high-quality 1970 Mustang Mach 1 Restomod that's ready to devour and obliterate any challengers on both the asphalt and the show circuit.
It may be a little difficult to tell from our photos (mainly because the color combination matches our photo booth floor), but this is one of those rare cars that's even nicer in person than it looks in HD. Tens of thousands of dollars are wrapped up in the bodywork and paint job alone and it absolutely shows. The expertly applied Silver Metallic paint is just the right shade for the killer Mach 1 design, further punctuated by those awesome gloss black stripes, and the bodywork is basically excellent in every way. It's not perfect only because perfect is too subjective of a concept and this car has been driven and enjoyed a little since it was painted, but man, this car sure gets insane attention here in our showroom. When it was delivered, we actually saw groupies following the car through our doors; grown men with their jaws dropped, slipping on their own drool. And what stood the most was the fact that many of those enchanted admirers actually work here. The Mach 1 was arguably the best-looking Mustang of all time, and with upgrades like the custom Shaker hood with pins (the particular hood on this Mach 1 was fabricated from the combination of three separate Mustang hoods to achieve the desired look), chin spoiler, honeycomb tail panel, and rear wing, it certainly looks the part of a high-performance pony. Special Mach 1 pieces like the rocker panel moldings are beautifully finished and the blacked-out stripe treatment is expertly applied, and you'll note that the decal spelling out the motor's cubic inch displacement was conspicuously left out. We'll have plenty more on that later. Chrome bumpers sparkle against the silver finish and all the stainless trim has been polished up to look great. This is a really impressive car!
The beautiful interior has been fully restored as well, complete with black racing buckets and a fold-down rear seat for practicality. The high-end black upholstery is in fantastic shape, covering all of the soft surfaces including the dash, center console, steering wheel, and door panels, and it's all accented with elegant white stitch work. Despite some choice modifications, which are quite frankly improvements on the OEM materials and equipment, the cabin maintains the spirit and feel of an original Mach 1. This very point speaks to the high-level and skilled craftsmanship of the builders of this beautiful muscle car. Options include power windows and locks, a sporty steering wheel atop a tilt column, an electronic emergency brake, and a full A/C system with modern R134a hardware and vents that were very cleverly installed inside the upgraded dash. There's a cool 8-ball shifter for the modern 6-speed manual underneath, and the woodrgrain accents found on the middle console, dash, and door panels add a touch of sophistication and warmth to the cabin. All-new digital/analog gauges show vivid markings and bright, clear lenses, and their modern hardware ensure a precise and accurate report on the supercharged violence under the hood. A retro-style AM/FM/AUX stereo radio almost looks factory-issued, which is purposeful in a car that's built like this, and it powers the kickin' Diamond speaker system installed throughout the interior. There are Mustang floor mats to protect the plush carpets and the trunk is neatly finished and houses a relocated Optima battery and Diamond subwoofer.
The blasting powder under the hood is almost unreal, with a fresh 5.0L Aluminator V8 crate motor that's been further empowered with a VMP Performance Supercharger system. For lack of a better word, it's actually been detuned to approximately 900 horsepower, which means it may actually lose a race to a rocket ship. But only by a car length or two. The engine bay presents like a super car, with that big blower up top, Ford valve covers, and plenty of detailed and polished components throughout. An aluminum radiator keeps the powerful engine at proper temperatures, while custom headers feed the Magnaflow stainless dual exhaust system with X-pipe to give it a spectacular sound. All that power is transferred to a Tremec 6-speed manual with an upgraded clutch, so shifting is easy and smooth through every gear. There's a custom front end underneath that helps with rigidity and handling, adjustable coilovers in the rear, power steering, Wilwood 4-disc power brakes, and big sway bars that help this Mustang completely eat up corners drive incredibly well at any speed. Blacked-out American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels look fantastic with high-performance Nitto radials wrapped around them.
Beautifully built and ferociously fast, this is a car that nails the restomod movement perfectly: killer looks, unreal performance, and lots of comfort. Call today!
