This 1970 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT has a well-done patina style, V8 power, and cool attitude you can see inside and out.
It's hard not to love the look of patina on a pickup. After all, it instantly gives this the appearance of what these trucks were meant to do: survive for generations. They added this look over the two-tone, and so that just heightens the vintage-style appeal. And this total package is still an effective pickup thanks to liner paint in the bed. More than just a classic-looking truck, there's also a hint of attitude with the side exit exhaust, lowered stance, and 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.
Inside is truly a unique look. The tapestry blanket seat cover is part of the long tradition of older classic vehicles, so it fits in perfectly with the exterior's patina personality. But when the doors have also been done to match, it becomes a much more uniform style and a thoughtful upgrade. The rest of the interior follows this theme of investing in a classic pickup package. There's a new wrap on the dash pad, the wood-like trim looks complete, and there's an upgraded floor mat. And just like the exterior, there's a hint of sporty flair with the grippy sports-style steering wheel and B&M floor shifter.
Ford's 390 cubic-inch V8 was the largest displacement the factory offered for the F-100 in 1970. It's both stout and powerful, so it's great to have it under the hood in this pickup. It has a nice look with the bold blue block, matching valve covers, and a bright air topper. More importantly, it's a strong runner. You have firm control of this V8 with the smooth-shifting three-speed manual transmission. You also have power steering, grippy Dunlop tires, and more recent investments in the front suspension to keep this feeling solid on the road.
This is a cool classic attitude seen throughout this V8 truck. So if you love a classic truck of distinction, call today!
