Incredible Mustang Pro-Tourer Ford Racing V8 Tremec 5-Speed PS A/C Traction Lok ///
A slick '60s bombshell that features an impressively straight body, this tough Mustang benefitted from a six-figure rotisserie build that was split between Maryville Tennessee's Prater's Auto Restoration and Louisville Tennessee's Alloway's Hot Rod Shop. After a full strip, the car stretched DuPont Hot Hues Volcanic Blast 2-stage under power-operated cloth. And today, this pony rolls as one head-turning thoroughbred that's won major accolades from many of America's largest car shows! Check the custom engine bay and you'll find 460 cubic inches of raucous Ford Racing power! Behind that mill, a tough hydraulic clutch kicks a modern Tremec 5-speed, which spins a 9-inch Strange axle that's packed with a Traction Lok differential and 3.50 gears. That drivetrain pushes an Art Morrison 4-bar that's triangulated around a polished sway bar, polished control arms and QA-1 coil-over-shocks. That clip is led by a Heidts Superide II front-half, which centers power rack-and-pinion steering in front of more polished control arms and more QA-1 coil-overs. At the corners, 6 and 4-piston calipers clamp Wilwood drilled and slotted rotors. And power meets the pavement through Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dogs and modern Goodyear meats. Swing the doors and you'll find an impressive custom cockpit that was installed by Steve Holcomb of Pro Auto Custom Interiors. Front and center, plush leather Sport Buckets boast big bolsters. A custom, leather-wrapped dash hangs billet-trimmed Classic Instruments telemetry next to Vintage Air conditioning. A custom, full-length console frames a canted Hurst shifter. And the driver spins a polished and half-wrapped steering wheel around a modern, tilting column. If you're looking for a stylish classic that commands respect on both the boulevard and the show field, this red-hot Mustang is just your style! Call, click or visit for more information.
