1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop C-Code 289-2V Automatic Nightmist Blue

1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop 289-2V(C-code) w/automatic transmission and original underdash air conditioning(AC & heater currently not working). This Mustang was originally Wimbledon White but was changed to Nightmist Blue by a previous owner. The car is mostly complete and in all-original configuration. but it does need a complete and proper restoration. It has moderate rust issues. but is not at all a hopeless "rust bucket" or "rustang". All five tires are brand-new(blackwalls. not the Goodriches shown in some pictures). and a new scissors jack the same style as original but of a newer and superior design is included. The brakes have been rebuilt with many new components but still need bleeding. The battery is brand-new. The gas tank is brand-new. This car would be a very solid basis for a complete proper restoration. The body and paint is somewhat rougher than the pictures make it look. The car's interior needs new carpet. floor insulation. & underlayment. kick panels. seat belts. dash pad. and package tray panel at a minimum. The old carpet. floor insulation. & underlayment has been removed so that you can directly examine a good sample of the level of rust in the floorpan.
