Up for sale is my 1926 Ford Modified. This is a no reserve auction!!!First I need to thank the photographers for some great pictures from the Race of GentlemenFor more great pics by Tim Sutton and a cool story go to the HOP UP web site. http://www. hopupmagazine. com/hero/clarks-t-modified/ The car is also supposed to be in the magazine. The car is a 1926 Ford modified built to look like the cars that ran the lakes back in the day. The car was raced at the Race of Gentlemen in Wildwood NJ. The car started with a 1927 Essex frame that was shortened and has a T rear crossmember. Front axle is a dodge double dip with 40 Ford spindles and brakes. The rear is a 46 Ford open banjo with a T spring. Wheels are 17 inch wires. ith excelsior tires. The motor is a 41 Ford truck 4 cylinder with a Graham supercharger. Way cool. has to be the only one! It has a 46 Ford 3 speed with open drive. The body is a 1926 Ford touring car. just the front half. There is a very cool custom made gas tank that finishes off the back. The body has been narrowed 8 inches. but there is still room for two people. The grill is a 1928 studebaker. arrowed and shortened. Feel free to ask questions on anything I may have forgotten. Thanks for looking and good luck!!
