This is a nice little car that could use a little tinkering. I bought this car from a friend of mine with the intention of using it to run back and forth from Idaho to Oklahoma. The Ford brochure for this cars says it is supposed to get around 70 mpg. but I figured with the fuel we have today and from some research I had done shows that they get about 50 mpg. I had decided not to use this car and got a different one instead and so this one is now available for someone else to own. I love this little car but have too many now. The car is in pretty good shape overall considering the age. The car does need some things like brake work. windshield. and a new ignition switch. The car does have 2 little dents. one at the trunk lock and one on the passenger side rear corner. The dash does have a few little cracks but nothing horrible. The seats are dirty but not torn. The mileage says 09241. so I don't know if this is 109 or 209. I have only driven the car about 50 miles or so. I do not know much about the background of the car other than it appears to have been taken care of pretty well. The car has pretty good tires on it (75%-80% tread left) and the battery seems to be good also. The car does have a cd player in it but for some reason the speakers don't work. The car had good brakes when I got it but after the trip home I had none and the reservoir is empty so I am guessing that there is a leaking wheel cylinder or something to that nature. Another thing I discovered on my trip home was that the heater did not work. the fan blows but no heat. The coolant levels were good so it may need a new heater core. The car runs great and if it was a turbo diesel I probably would be keeping it. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and arrangements. I know a local shipper who may be available to ship but no promises. If you have any further questions I can be reached at redneck_rolemodel@hotmail. com
