Car description |
---|
You are looking at a 1956 Ford T-Bird that was purchased from an estate auction. This car was stored inside since the 70's, they drove it inside and never did anything with it since. The paint looks like it was done by anamateurat that time. This would make a great project as it is 99% complete. The only things I see missing is the drivers door panel, carpet, & some of the exhaust.
It has a 292 with a 3 speed manual overdrive. I tried to turn the motor over by hand but couldn't turn it so it appears to be stuck. Maybe with some work it would free up but I didn't try. It has Power Steering & Power Brakes. It has a factory Town & Country radio, Factory Fender Skirts., Factory Continental Kit. It does roll & steer. It has nice straight bumpers, they must have been replaced or rechromed at one time. I didn't get the keys with the car.
There is a clear title. It has the removable hard top with the port holes.
This car does need to be restored but it would be a great project since it is so complete and not all rusted out. There is one hole in the passenger front floor pan that you can see in the pictures. The inner rockers have some rust, but it is way better than most you will find.
A $1000 deposit is required within 48 hours and full payment within 7 days. I would like the car picked up within 30 days but I understand trucking is difficult at times.
This is a no reserve auction and this car will sell to the highest bidder. Please ask any and all questions. Thanks, Jeff
