I have a 71 Ford Maverick Grabber with 36. 00 miles shown on the odometer and title. It looks to be all original accept for 1 repaint. It runs and drives very nice as it is. It shows very well at local car shows and gets lots of looks and comments everywhere it goes. It could use a freshening up on the interior but is very useable as it is. The only thing that isn't working at the moment is the gas guage and it looks to need a new sending unit. The 200 6cyl starts and runs well with no smoke or oil leaks. The automatic transmission is strong and shifts as smooth as good as new. The paint shines up nicely with the passenger side fender going to need reworked down low at some point in the future. All of the stainless trim is very nice as are the bumpers they were either rechromed or new at some point. If it wasn't for needing the room for other projects I wouldn't be getting rid of this one. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking. On Mar-17-15 at 17:30:45 PDT. seller added the following information:Update. Update. Update. UpdateJust an update to answer questions you might have that have been asked by others. Yes this is a true Grabber 62D is what the body code saysYes the frame rails. floor pans are in great shape The only thing that may need work in the future in my opinion would be the front torque boxes. The only bodywork that I can see that will need in the future will be the passenger side lower fender. These are the worst spots on the car that I am aware of. I have only driven this car and not had to do any work to it at all till today I went to start it and the starter was out after sitting all winter. Im sure I could have took a hammer to it to get it thru the end of the auction but I would rather sell it as running and driving so it has an new starter and battery. It is being sold as is meaning things could go wrong with it but as of right now there is nothing wrong with the car accept what is stated in the description. It isn't a top of the line show car but nowhere near being a project. I have used it as a good weekend cruiser and local car show vehicle. But I think the price also reflects where the condition is at currently. Reserve price is $5000 for those who are serious about buying the car.
