Ford Bronco, Gen 3, "Bullnose". This is a refurbished full size Gen 3 Bronco, four wheel drive with removable top. I am not calling it "restored" because it was never intended to be a show car. It has been gone over mechanically and is built in the Overland style. Paint is 3 years old. It has an 8000 lb Mile Marker winch mounted on a Warn winch bumper with custom bumper outer sections and a High Lift jack mounted on the rear spare tire carrier. This Bronco has the desirable combination of the big Ford 300 ci six cylinder engine and NP435 manual transmission with the granny low gear. It works awesome off-road. Less than 5000 miles on: remanufactured engine, all engine accessories (alternator, starter, carburetor), radiator, entire bake system, gas tank, and 31 inch Goodyear Duratrac tires including spare. Brand new battery. The feedback carburetor (not a Ford better idea!) has been replaced with a standard carburetor and the ignition upgraded to s Duraspark II Electronic Ignition system. Runs great! It's a little cold blooded at startup but just hit the accelerator 3 times, start it and let it high idle for a few minutes, drop the idle to 800 rpm and drive off! All rust was cut out and replaced with welded-in patch panels about 3 years ago. There is a small amount of rust in the passenger door jamb as shown in the pics. The interior is bedlined with Al's Liner. The front bench seat shows some wear and is covered in a saddle blanket seat cover. The rear seat is faded some but in otherwise great shape. Original optional equipment includes tilt wheel, air conditioning and cruise control. The AC is not working. The cruise control works well. Odometer mileage exceeds the mechanical limit - unknown if it is 132,000 or 232,00 miles. This Bronco was included in Todd Zuercher's authoritative book "A History of Ford's Legendary 4X4 Ford Bronco", a copy of the book will be included for the winning bidder. If you don't buy this Bronco be sure to pick up Todd's book - it's available on Amazon. I have tried to represent this Bronco accurately. It was built to be a working and driving second vehicle for a cabin in Colorado and to be used on moderate trails and for some overlanding trips in CO, UT, NM and AZ. It is set up to tow a trailer with both a 4- and 7-pin connector and includes a Prodigy trailer brake controller. It's not a show vehicle - the paint is not perfect - but it would be awesome with an off-road or tear drop trailer for exploring and overlanding. It is titled in Colorado with Colorado tags but it's currently located in the Austin Texas area. I'm not new to eBay but I have not listed anything for sale in a number of years - thus my 0 feedback ratings.
