Car description

The 1960 Ford Fairlane 500 was designed for style, but this custom build adds in a ton of midnight attitude no one saw coming. This gives you speedy flair with a performance-built fuel-injected V8, four-on-the-floor, and racing bucket seats for everyone. But also don't forget to look for the thoughtful upgrades, too, like the A/C interior and overdrive.
This is a mean machine. So the black paint is sleek with a hint of combat-ready attitude. And this midnight appearance is enhanced with details like the black trim, grille, and even dark LED headlights. They left hints of brightwork on the chrome bumpers and the trim under the tailfins just so you can enjoy a touch of the classic feeling. But the lightweight hood with power bulge and Mickey Thompson tires on blackout short track wheels tell you this was made for more than just cruising.
The interior is absolutely competition-ready. While you've seen upgraded classics with modern front seats, rarely do you also see the rear getting racing buckets, too! And everyone gets proper four-point harnesses. Because this is a sizable coupe, the seating upgrade has plenty of room. In fact, as you dig deeper you'll find more great comfort upgrades. This includes an AM/FM digital tuner with amplified speakers, and there's also cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. But the best features you're going to love are what makes this a driver-oriented package. You get a Hurst floor shifter, Grant flat-bottom steering wheel, and a complete set of white-faced gauges, including a large AutoMeter Phantom speedo and tach.
When you have a vehicle that looks this mean, you want something like this in the engine bay to back up all the attitude. It's a 390 cubic-inch block that the consignor states has been stroked to whopping 450ci total. It's a fully-built package with Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads, .700 lift cam, stainless roller tipped rockers, oversized valves, oversized oil pan w/upgraded oiling system, forged 10:1 pistons, and internally balanced with a steel crankshaft. It's a monster motor package that's topped with dual FI-Tech fuel injection modules...yes, two of them! And you can see the motor even has the right supporting components, like a high-output alternator, big serpentine belt system, MSD ignition, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator w/electric fan. The header package adds power while contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust, but any time you really want to bring the thunder, there are also electronic cutouts. The close-ratio four-speed transmission gives you complete control over the monster powerhouse. And this feeds a stout Ford 9-inch rear with 31 spline axles, Detroit lockers, traction bars, and 4.11 gears for power take-offs. And while this is a full competition-ready package, it was also built to be quite nice for more than just a racetrack. That's why you have power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and Gear Vendor overdrive.
There's a ton more info on this build we can go over, so call for all the details. But you already know this is one wicked Ford that you need to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
