Car description |

There is a very cool overall quality to this steel-bodied 1932 Ford Highboy Roadster. It has the classic look just right with the V8 on display and hot rod black paint. But then you also see some nice upgrades, like an overdrive transmission and four-wheel disc brakes. The result is a crisp and clean street machine that really is built for driving.
We like to call matte black Hot Rod Black, because these custom speed creations only needed a basic primer coat back in the day before they were ready for Saturday night fun. This one upholds that legacy with its finish, but you can also see that they took the time for a quality application on this steel body. Plus, with the elimination of fenders and extra wide rear rubber, this has a great highboy performance stance. It wants to have a true street machine attitude, but with quality like this, it also can't help be have a little flair. So you have nice brightwork in places like the waterfall grille, exposed hairpin suspension, tubular bumpers, and low windshield frame. And then you also start to notice the little details, like the larger headlights w/integrated turn signals, and the little extra style that comes from glossy black steel wheels against the two-piece wheel trim.
Inside, this has the right hot rod basic look, but there's also quality in the details. The tan seat looks great against the black exterior, and the hint of tuck and roll pattern is repeated on the side panels. Plus, the shift boot, dash, and steering wheel wrapping all nicely match. It's a driver-oriented setup with the polished tilt steering column, Lokar floor shifter, and crisp Dolphin gauges neatly installed in the clean dash.
You may want to put on your sunglasses before inspecting the engine. This one has a show-ready shine on nearly every component. And beyond the style, you'll see the substance of a 350 cubic-inch V8. This has an Edelbrock double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Vortec heads, and shorty headers that also add power while contributing to the sweet rumble of the dual exhaust. It even has quality supporting components like an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. As you look underneath this one, you'll see desirable features, like the more modern frame and a four-link rear end with adjustable coilovers. Plus, there are terrific driving features like four-wheel disc brakes and smooth-shifting 700R4 four-speed transmission w/overdrive.
This one has the stance, features, and quality you want in a classic Highboy. So don't let this total package slip away, call today!
