Car description

TAKE TWO, on this one. Got the famous "OKIE DOKIE" sham on this sell. The fake highest bid routine with ZERO feedback just before the auction ended, cleared the legit bidder. Regardless, relisting this 1958 Thunderbird, with the very low VIN number. This is a VERY low production car. IF... you are a Ford person, much less a Thunderbird person, and know its VIN history, then common knowledge is the "last six" VIN sequence. FOMOCO begins at 100001. This 1958 Thunderbird is a VERY early build from Wixom, MI on January 21st, 1958. The VIN reflects it as number 100652. What an extremely RARE version of the first start of the four seat,"square bird" of 1958-1960.At this point, it is not about selling parts off this car, it is about FIXING it.. RIGHT. This car, as all the early '58s, were built with no choice but... the 300 HP 352 CI V-8. It's long gone, as is the Cruiseomatic AT. The original rear end is under it though. The car has a paint code of "M" which is "Gulfstream Blue". A semi dark blue that can be seen under the wanna be aqua. The repaint came in the mirror for sure, from the original trim code "XM", which is turquoise and white bucket seats in vinyl. The car was built with no A/C. In 1958 MI, it was a fantasy anyway. It does have a factory power driver's seat and power windows. This listing reflects what should be done with this car. A properly done 360 degree, rotating restoration of the one piece body structure. The floors need work, and the passenger front is the worst. Replace both the hood and trunk lid. The glass is trash in the passenger side. Not going into a detail of what it needs. But what it HAS, is the original rolling suspension, the interior seat structures which can be redone, and the trim. The bumpers can be re-chromed. KEEP these. They are not bad enough to replace. This is an extreme project car, but WOW, what 1958 Ford history in the 10 digit VIN. Another option, "rough" it back to together, and make a "ROCKABILLY" car out of it. As it already has the vintage mags on it for that. Because the previous listing indicated a sale, I got a CLEAR FL title in my name, WITH ACTUAL mileage on it. Another expense and lesson WELL learned from selling on here, even after 21 years. I am not going to ad that $150 on to the first listing price. I will eat that. I have a copy of the 23 year old title to help preserve its paper trail history. Pics concrete the description of this project, therefore, NO RETURNS, but the VIN speaks for itself. Will be glad to assist in loading to ship. Overseas shipping okay. All the tires are up., so loading on a transporter is a breeze. Thanks for looking.
