1965 Falcon Futura
2dr hardtop
Original paint
Az SW survivor
FAIR RESERVE ...bid on it to win !
This is a really nice Az survivor Falcon. So many
things on this car still from 1965 its a time capsule.
Add to that 50+ yrs of patina, factory AC and PS just
makes it more desirable and harder to find.
Its pretty much a fact, there are more RESTORED Falcons
out there these days, then there are original survivors.
We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller
If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont
bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on
wondering if we are real or not.
FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback
on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also
shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating
for a reason,... try trusting it.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This car has been in AZ or San Diego area pretty much its whole
life. Odometer I believe has 135k on it. It was parked for many
years and brought back to life last yr w/ things like new gas tank
and associated parts. The original 2v carb and intake where replaced
with a nice aluminum dual plane aftermarket unit and afb style carb.
Starts, runs and drives great for its age. The AC blows and is all there
but not charged w R12 at the moment. It was also upgraded to PDB
up front several yrs ago I think using Granada parts. Its not perfect
and if it was, it wouldnt be as desirable. It could be a fun daily driver
as is. Only thing I noticed it may need in the next few months would
be it has a very small PS leak. Also have 4 brand new tires.
Personally, if I kept it, Id doa few repairs to the interior,
add some tunes, maybe do some new weatherstripping, toss down
a new trunk mat and take it to cruise nites just like that :)
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL !
Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title
If you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: I wont end it early, sorry.
DRIVETRAIN: factory original V8 car, I believe it is the original
motor and trans. Newerdistributor, carb and intake manifold for
a slight modern yet period correct touch. Trans Im pretty sure is
your std C4 and 8" rearend. All work fine and nothing to report.
For as old as the car is, its fun and for the most part daily driver
reliable. Motor has no weird noises etc. NIce sounding older dual
exhaust set up.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, Az heat has taken its toll on
alot of it, but in some areas its not bad. It does look decent in the
Pics but it has some flaws after 50 yrs. It all looks original and
has that 60s interior smell still. Glass all good and windows work
fine too. Doors shut solid and dont sag. Weatherstripping is very old
and shows its age. No idea why the stock radio isnt making sound,
could just need a speaker, not sure. Headliner, carpet and sunvisors
probably showing the most wear.
EXTERIOR:the body very straight for its age, with a few
dents front to rear, but nothing too major. But the car did avoid
your typical eastcoast rust and rot, spending most of its life in AZ
and southern CA. About 95% rot free with mostly surface rust under
it, making it a very solid Falcon. Seeing as Im 99% sure this is still
wearing its original Green Dynasty single stage paint, there are signs
of patina front to rear, but evidence of any repaint, touch up or bondo
hiding on this car. Bumpers and stainless are in really nice shape.
Solid nice car overall. Check out all the pics carefully .
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can
make out, basically the way it came out of the factory except
some stuff replaced over the yrs from normal wear n tear.
Sits nice and rides nice too, with no weird clunks or steering
issues etc. Even the shocks feel responsive like they should.
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
Probably The BEST represented Birds of Prey on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take pics of areas under the car they are
selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
