This 1934 Ford Roadster Pickup has the lowered stance and flame-kissed looks of a true street machine. So you'll be really glad it has a stroker V8 under the hood to deliver on its custom performance appearance.
The first thing you notice about this pickup are the flames. After all, it's a custom application that consumes the front half of the car. And you'll appreciate the details, like the multi-tone pinstripe that provides a crisp separation from the black paint. But you'll also see that there have been plenty more detail work on this creation. You see it in the red pinstriping all around the truck, including outlining the special carpeted bed. The windshield has the low-cut apperance of a street machine, and while we love the roadster look, that removable hardtop has a low-slung style that's going to attract as much attention. The grille is painted, and they matched it with a uniform modern look by eliminating brightwork on the headlight surrounds, front bumper, side mirrors, and more. It not only gives this a deeply sinister blackout look, but also draws your attention to the one remaining shining components, the alloy wheels. Then again, with these classic American Racing Torq Thrust units staggered at an aggressive 14/17 inches front/rear, you were already taking note of that wickedly mean stance.
Those suicide doors swing open wide to show off the smooth custom door panels, and once you peek inside, you'll see a ton more custom work in this blackout package. The bench has a nice pattern, and it also has individual bolstering for added comfort. The flames of the exterior return on the hand-painted dash, and now they're joined by the custom flame pattern of the steering wheel. The sporty carbon fiber look of the floor shifter matches the gauge panel full of crisp TPI Tech readouts. And it all tells you there's something special under the hood.
The whole front end tilts forwards so you, and everyone else, gets a nice view of the powerhouse. We love seeing a Ford V8 in a classic Ford-style machine, and the long Cobra air topper and matching valve covers announce this connection with pride. It's a 347 cubic-inch stroker V8 that inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum intake. The electric choke helps this one fire up readily, and the glasspack-style dual exhaust makes that ideal street machine growl. The Ford 9-inch rear and four-link rear suspension are great for getting the rubber to meet the road. And features like the three-speed automatic transmission and front disc brakes make it nice for all-around driving.
This is the pickup that really hauls. So don't miss this deal, call today!
