1948 FORD F1 PICKUP. SUPER NICE BODY. GORGEOUS NATURAL PATINA. VERY RESTORABLE!!

1948 Ford F-1 half ton pickup truck. Uncommonly nice. straight and original body. The absolutely best "natural patina" I've ever seen on any old truck of this era. A 100% complete and unmolested truck less a few very minor items. SEVERAL NEW RESTORATION BODY PARTS GO WITH THIS TRUCK!! SEE LIST AT BOTTOM OF ADD!! Truck has not been driven on streets in nearly 40 years. Was last tagged by Oklahoma and driven in 1976. Engine will start and run off an auxiliary fuel cannister with hot battery. Brakes are down. Truck will need to be transported. Not currently road worthy. Body has "some" rust. but less than many of these Ford trucks of this year. The principal areas of rust is the cab floor board in front of seat and the lower front fenders under the headlights ( see pictures ). Dash has never been cut on. The pictures show a large "factory" hole in the dash where radio cover that is missing used to be. These radio covers and speaker covers are available thru several sources. Good Oklahoma title. Both vent window glasses are broken but new glass is included for both vent windows. Passenger door glass is cracked. but new glass is included. Rear glass is smoked up due to age. but nice used rear glass is included with a new rubber gasket. Floor board is rusty on both sides. but complete new reproduction floor panel is included along with new reproduction toe board for passenger side. New glass tail light lense with gasket and stainless retainer included. ENGINE:Engine is the original type 226 cubic inch 95 h. p. flathead 6 cylinder. New spark plugs. new ignition points and condenser. An engine compression test was done. and each cylinder tested at an average of 110 - 115 lbs. compression. There is a metal tag riveted to the engine block that says "SUN ENGINE RE-MANUFACTURING" with numbers stamped into tag which indicates the engine has been replaced in its history with a newly rebuilt engine. How many miles have been put on this re-manufactured engine is unknown. but engine is free of any knocking or unusual noises. Actual mileage on truck is unknown. Truck has spent its entire life here in Tulsa. Oklahoma. Truck has had only two previous owners from new. TRANSMISSION: 4 speed manual transmission. NEW PARTS INCLUDED WITH SALE OF TRUCK. Two new vent glassesOne new door glassOne good used back glass with new rubber gasket. Complete new reproduction floor board from front of seat forward to the toe board.
