Up for sale is a very cool 1971 Ford F100 with a lot of character. This is a local Arizona and rust free truck. A lot of the hard and expensive work has already been done to make this a fun truck to cruise while making your own.
Powertrain wise this truck has both a professionally rebuilt motor and transmission. For the motor it is a built to mostly stock spec 351C. With the short block being machined, new bearings installed, oil pump, cam kit, full engine reseal, new water pump, etc. It is a 351 Cleveland out of an early 70's mustang. Transmission is a C4 three speed auto that shifts firmly as it should.When motor went in the radiator was also rebuilt by a local shop here in town and pressure tested. Truck runs nice and cool.Brakes have been gone through as well as the master cylinder and brake linesFuel system was cleaned and new fuel filters installed.
Chassis wise the truck is stock and original. Has never been hacked into and ready to be left at stock height or lowered down to the height you like. As you can see in the photos the truck is 98% rust free, everything being dry surface rust underneath. Only part of the truck that has rust is passenger floor board (see pic). It is a small section water sat in for a few years before the truck was brought back to life. As you can see it is not into the rocker and I have an auto metal direct replacement pan for the truck.
Paint and body as you can see has a really great, natural, patina going for it. I would clear coat and leave the truck as is, dings and all.The bed of the truck is in great shape and isn't dented near the cab like most trucks and not rusty. It Is also supporting a nice patina.
All of the lights work (see drive video) besides the blinkers and wipers are intermittent.
The interior has been refreshed with a reupholstered seat and door panels. Headliner and visors are in good shape and even the cab light works. Speedo and temperature gauges work but speedo is not accurate. Aftermarket oil pressure gauge has been installed and engine has great oil pressure both warm and cold.
Overall this is a very nice driving truck, goes down the road straight, no weird suspension noises, and gets a lot of "thumbs up". Looking for the buyer who would enjoy making his/her own finishing touches to the truck
