Car description |

Ford was known for their half-model releases, particularly with the 1963.5 Galaxie and the popular 1964.5 Mustang, and in 1970, they did it again with the Falcon. With only 4,300 assembled for this half year makes this quite unique. The Falcon had a great run in the 70's and offered performance, style but also affordable to more than just the executives.
Pleased to offer this well preserved 1970.5 Ford Falcon to the next owner. Originally sold by Bill Brown Ford in Livonia MI to Mr. Kottke in Livonia Michigan, where from our records appears to have stayed in his ownership for over 2 decades, before being sold to Mr. Veighey in Traverse City Michigan. Vehicle is powered by the original 250ci 6cyl that was rebuilt with triple carb setup and Offenhauser intake. Original setup does come with the vehicle as well. Referring to the thick file of service records and receipts, the car was treated to new brakes, new wheel cylinders, new tires and fresh service just in the past year. Vehicle is in super condition and is stunning in person as it is to drive. The blue on blue combination is incredible in person and the highlight of the painted wheels really completes the overall package. Assembled in the Oakville, Ontario plant and carries the 250ci 6cyl, 2.79 rear axle and C4 transmission.
Vehicle comes with a large file with original build sheet, owners manuals, dealer delivery packet, photo press release info and a multitude of receipts and documentation. Based on the top to bottom condition, the mileage is believed to be original as well. These have a very strong following and for the price point it is a very enjoyable and fun car to drive to the beach, car shows or date night with your significant other. We continue to get the quality vehicles that many are looking for and are extensive reach on marketing allows us to offer cars that customers want. Take advantage of this fantastic setup and enjoy a classic without breaking the bank!
